Warren's Dark Heresy Game

First day in Stern Hope

We first meet Cedric and Grawn, and arrive at Stern Hope. We learn a little about local culture and the Drusian congregation. We explore the village somewhat, and learn some clues, but as this is turning into an awesome mystery sort of game I dont want to give stuff away and it’d be cool to start having a player do adventure logs…

Welcome to your Adventure Log!
A blog for your campaign

Every campaign gets an Adventure Log, a blog for your adventures!

While the wiki is great for organizing your campaign world, it’s not the best way to chronicle your adventures. For that purpose, you need a blog!

The Adventure Log will allow you to chronologically order the happenings of your campaign. It serves as the record of what has passed. After each gaming session, come to the Adventure Log and write up what happened. In time, it will grow into a great story!

Best of all, each Adventure Log post is also a wiki page! You can link back and forth with your wiki, characters, and so forth as you wish.

One final tip: Before you jump in and try to write up the entire history for your campaign, take a deep breath. Rather than spending days writing and getting exhausted, I would suggest writing a quick “Story So Far” with only a summary. Then, get back to gaming! Grow your Adventure Log over time, rather than all at once.

Into the Wastes 6-5

Morning on the Pilgrim’s Road and Quintilla fixes the truck. They travel further toward Stern Hope and encounter some troublesome Ashleen youths who steal half of their water before being driven away, as well as a strange figure atop a rock, who they lose contact with but upon investigating the rock, Wraxa finds a strange glyph recently burned into the rock, of a skull superimposed on a fist with a sunburst coming out of it…

Drinks and Clues 5-22

Zizz also makes planetfall and meets the party. Aristachus heals Plex of her wounds, does the “these aren’t the droids you’re looking for” trick on an illegal arms merchant to get a free flamer and some lasgun charges, and then goes to sleep as does Quintilla.

Wraxa, Plex, Maptizma and Zizz go out drinking with the locals and find out a fair bit about the ghostflowers, the ashleen, and typical life on the planet. Wraxa saves a child…

Smelly Things 5-8

Wraxa, Plex and the now only semi-lucid Maptizma follow the baby-thing some more, which loops around back to the city’s spaceport where they see another dropship landing. They first meet Quintilla who has thrown up inside her mask. She knows how to communicate with the baby-thing, and finds out that it belongs to Aristarchus, and how to get it to take them to him. Unfortunately, on the way, they are harassed by some young Ashleen hotheads, and it escalates into a fight. Quintilla ends up crawling through a sewer and Plex gets shot three times before the local town guard come and arrest half of the Ashleen, and the other half run away.

The town guards say some stuff about bringing the party in for questioning, but they show Inquisition credentials and scare off the guards.

Then they meet Aristarchus, who explains more about the cathedral and the hauntings, and young Brother James, who shows Wraxa where to buy illegal guns. Also perhaps he gives away some of his naivete as he does not think to bring water for the journey until Plex mentions it. Wraxa is unable to find anything she both likes and can afford, despite using Inquisition credentials to intimidate prices waaay down, while the rest of the merchants quietly leave…

Planetfall 4-24

Wraxa, Plex and Maptizma all meet each other for the first time aboard the starship Brazen Sky, and get a rundown on the general ins and outs of space travel as it were, by a simpering void-borne named Sebek. They also purchase some blankets and lho-sticks (plex), the finger-bone of a saint (wraxa) and the services of seven ratling prostitutes and a fizzlybub machine (maptizma) and make planetfall on the harsh windy world of Iocanthos.

Maptizma takes some pills before the drop, despite Wraxa trying to pull them out of his hand.

The landing site is at the center of Port Suffering, which is a bewildering place. The party spends some time chasing around a strange winged undead baby-thing and getting yelled at by an insane old Ashleen man. Having not all carefully read the mission directives, and with Maptizma all whacked out on pills, the game comes to an end with the poor party members at a loss for what to do or what is going on…
